description: "Phelps was the bestest boy. It destroyed me to leave him in South Africa with my best friend when we had to leave for Australia. We just could not afford to bring him with us. I don't know if he missed us, but we definitely missed him. I'm happy to know that he got to swim and play with other dogs. I learned recently that he passed in 2023. He was already old, but he got cancer and passed relatively quickly. I loved that dog."
